Cast using the lost-wax method by tribal artisans in the Bastar region of Chhattisgarh — a technique in continuous use for roughly four thousand years. A wax original is built by hand, coated in clay, then fired: the wax melts away, molten brass is poured into the cavity, and the clay mould is broken open to free the piece. Because the mould can only be used once, no two castings are ever fully identical.

Care Guide
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — brass develops a natural patina over time, which many collectors consider part of its character. For a polished finish, use a brass-safe polish sparingly and buff dry.
